OpenSocial provides a common set of APIs for social applications across multiple websites. With standard JavaScript and HTML, developers can create apps that access a social networks friends and update feeds. There are two ways to access the OpenSocial API: client-side using the JavaScript API and server-side using RESTful data APIs.
