Welcome to the Reuters Spotlight service, which provides Reuters.com content in the form of multimedia articles, pictures, videos and text news through a set standards based consumer APIs (ATOM, JSON, RSS, MRSS, RDF and Micro formats). The Spotlight service also provides an option to receive the content automatically annotated with rich semantic metadata from the Reuters OpenCalais service. The Reuters Spotlight service is now open to the public to register and request access.

The purpose of this API is to allow people greater access to our content and information about our content. Two words sum up what this API is about: simple and TV-Anytime. The API is built on a TV-Anytime database (the same as used for the BBC Backstage 7-day TV/Radio feeds) and you can use it to extract information in TV-Anytime format. We have also provided a simple response format, giving quick and easy access to information.

The DayPI gives YOU access to the platform we at Daylife to power Daylife.com. The DayPI lets you ask questions of the news from around the world, and build applications on top of the answers, using whatever web application technology you like.

Put simply, our API enables developers to retrieve Findory news and blog article data by making parameterized URL requests over HTTP (otherwise known as REST). The results are returned in RSS format for your convenience.Using our nifty RSS Feeds configuration page, you can can play with all the different arguments to our REST API and preview the results. There are literally millions of ways you can slice the data.

NewsGator Online provides an API to allow application developers to develop aggregators and other applications that process RSS to use a NewsGator Online user's location, subscription and folder structure in their application. The NewsGator Online API also gives application developers very fine-grained control over synchronizing the read and deleted state of individual posts.
